Search engines like Google want to rank content that comes from authoritative sources who have expertise in their subject areas. The more high-quality content you have on your website that explores your topic areas in-depth, the more likely Google is to see your website as an authority, and thus rank your content. Topical mapping will help you know exactly what it takes to build that authority for better organic search rankings.
When Google sees your website as a topical authority, it is more likely to promote all of the content published on your website. Building out topical authority can result in increased ranking positions for all of the content related to your areas of expertise. It can also help you earn higher ranking positions with each new piece of relevant content that you publish on your website.
Start by typing your primary topic or keyword into the first text bar. Then, select the number of keyword clusters (subtopics) and the number of long-tails (target keywords) you want included in the topical map. Finally, select the number of blog titles you want to generate for each long-tail term. When you have entered all of these inputs, click “Generate Topical Authority Map.”
It may take a few minutes for your topical map to generate, depending on the total number of items you input. When the topical map is ready, it will be visible in the table below the topical map tool. Click “View” to see your topical map. As you generate new maps, they will populate in this table.
After clicking “View,” you will be taken to a Google spreadsheet with your topical map. Expand the rows and columns as necessary. The map will include three columns: 1) Keyword Cluster, 2) Long-tail Keyword, and 3) Article Title. The number of rows will depend on the settings you selected. Add columns to fit your agency needs, whether target word count, meta descriptions, writer assignments, due dates, and more.
Navigate to the SEO Content Assistant and click “Write with AI in Bulk.” This is where you can generate all of the content in your topical map. To get started, you will need to download and complete the AI Bulk Writer template. Click “Get .xls template” to access the View-only spreadsheet.
After you make a copy of the template, copy and paste the items from your topical map. To improve the AI outputs of the content, we recommend that you also specify additional details including geolocation, body content, title tag, meta description, and more. This will help the Bulk AI Writer generate near-perfect content that requires little to no editing.
Copy and paste your Google spreadsheet link into the text box, then click “Upload.” Before starting bulk content generation, you may want to specify additional project settings by clicking, “Project Ai Settings.” This will help you customize the AI outputs to your clients’ brand voice, products, and services. When ready, click “Bulk Generate Articles,” to start generating the content in your topical map.
You will find the new articles located in the SEO Content Assistant table. As your articles are being generated, they will be marked as, “AI Generating.” Once the article is complete, it will have a content score of 90+ and will be marked as “Completed” in the status column. Depending on the number of items in your topical map, it may take a few hours to a full day for all of your content to generate.
Edit your content as you see fit. Use the AI Image Hero Generator at the top of each article to generate a unique, custom image for your content. Use the suggested internal links feature to find relevant articles on your website to link out to. Or, customize this in your original template so the AI includes target links when generating your content.
For WordPress users, you can publish your AI-generated articles directly to your website without leaving the dashboard. Make sure you have installed the MetaSync plugin on your website. Then. utilize the “WP Synchronize” button to publish your article to your website. Make sure to specify a permalink, the type of page, as well as the category for your new articles.
