Generate high-quality reports to share with your clients. Or, share links and invite them to review their audits directly in the dashboard. Easily collaborate with other members of your team to improve audited pages and optimize weak content. Search Atlas makes it easier to upsell on-page SEO services through high-quality reports that clearly communicate content deficiencies.
Start by typing in your target keyword or keywords. To run an audit for multiple keywords, separate your keywords with a comma. Then, enter the web page URL you want to audit as well as your target location. When you have entered all of the parameters for your on-page audit, click “Run Audit.”
When your audit report is ready, it will appear in the below table. There you will see a high-level overview of your audit score in two areas: content and technicals. If you are running multiple on-page audit reports for your agency clients, you can see all of your audits in this dashboard view. Whenever you want to review an audit, click “View Audit.”
At the top of your audit report, you will see scores for the on-page elements of the web page. First is the content score, which estimates how high-quality your content is and whether it meets on-page SEO best practices. Beneath the content score is a technical score, which evaluates the meta data of your web page. You will also find the Domain Rating, total referring domains, and desktop and mobile PageSpeed Insights scores for the audited page.
Open the expandable tables to review the on-page elements that factored into your content and technical scores. Your score is calculated based on how the content compares to those web pages ranking in the top 20 positions for your target keywords. The charts will compare the Content Score, word count, readability, Focus terms, internal links, and other on-page elements alongside your competitors.
Open the expandable competitors chart to see how your content quality measures up against the top-ranking content. Most often, top-ranking content will have high content scores, strong Domain Authority scores, and low spam scores. To outrank your competitors, you should aim to increase both the content score, page performance, and referring domains of your audited URL.
To see the details that factored into your technical score, click the “View Issues,” button located to the right side of your report. There, you will get a color-coded report of whether your metadata meets on-page SEO best practices. If needed, you will also get detailed recommendations for how to improve your page titles, meta descriptions, headings, canonical tags, and other important metadata that Google uses to evaluate and understand the content on your URL.
If your audited URL has a low content score, you should improve the content quality on the page to increase your ranking potential. Click “Optimize Content,” to send the web page over to the SEO Content Assistant. There, the tool will populate with all of the content on the page. Follow the recommendations in the right-side toolbar to improve the content on the page, including adding in Focus Terms, increasing word count, adding internal and external links, and more.
