Once you have activated OTTO for your client project, navigate to the “Google Business Profile Optimization,” tab. Then, select “Data Aggregator & Network Submissions,” from the left-side menu. In the top right-hand corner, click the “+ New Submission” button.
Confirm that the correct project is selected under the dropdown menu labeled “Business.” Then, choose the data aggregator networks where you want to submit your local business. Check the box to the left of the network name to add it to your order. We discount each additional aggregator you select by 10%. Once selected, click “Next Step.”
Complete the required fields with information about your local business. Double-check that all of the information is accurate and matches the information in your Google Business Profile. This information will be included in all of the citations across your selected data aggregator networks, so make sure to review it carefully. Then, click “Next Step.”
Some of your local citations may include your local business logo or images, so it’s important to add them. Drag and drop your image files to the icons, or click the blue hyperlinks to upload from your device. Make sure the images are in JPG or PNG format and properly sized for maximum quality. Once added, click “Next Step.”
Add a primary contact person for your business as well as contact information like email, phone number, and fax number (optional). The more information you can add the better, as customers will have more ways to reach out to your business. This information will be listed with all of your business listings, so make sure to confirm your local business clients’ best points of contact. Once complete, click “Next Step.”
Complete the required fields detailing the services your local business offers. This is a great opportunity to add your target keywords into your descriptions to increase your chances of ranking for those terms. Make sure to include up-to-date hours of operation for your local business, as Google will use this information to display in your Google Map Pack listing. Once completed, click, “Next Step.”
Lastly, add the URLs of your local business’s social media profiles. This will help increase your social signals and help Google understand the connection between your Google Business Profile and your social media pages. Once completed, your final total will appear at the bottom right corner of the window (and will depend on the number of aggregators you previously selected). Click, Confirm & Pay,” to submit your local citations across your selected networks.
